Los Angeles police are seeking a hit-and-run driver that struck a bicyclist in the Westlake area of Los Angeles on August 15. The cyclist was critically injured and suffered severe head injuries in the incident that occurred around 6:50 p.m. at Venice Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue. The hit-and-run was caught in a 2-second surveillance video, which was later released by the LAPD. Authorities described the vehicle to be a tan minivan, which appeared to be a gold Chrysler.
There is a $50,000 reward available to anyone that provides information leading to the driver’s arrest. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call (877) LAPD-247.
