According to KTLA, three teenagers sustained major injuries after they were struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian accident that occurred in Garden Grove on Thursday, July 19, 2018.
The pedestrian accident occurred near Westminster Boulevard and Kerry Street around 6 p.m., when a group of teenagers were crossing the street and a tan GMC Yukon XL crashed into them.
According to the report, the group involved seven teenagers and they were all walking in a marked crosswalk at the time of the pedestrian accident.
Three of the victims, identified as a 14-year-old and two 13-year-olds, sustained major injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the Yukon remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The cause of the pedestrian accident remains unknown, as toxicology results are still pending.
