2 injured in truck accident in the Cajon Pass

According to NBC, two people were injured after a truck crashed into another vehicle and a gas station convenience store in the Cajon Pass on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

The truck accident was reported around 8 a.m., when the truck driver, identified as Manuel Romero, 34, of Las Vegas, was attempting to exit the 15 Freeway at the Highway 138 off-ramp and struck a 1999 GMC Yukon driven by 52-year-old James Jefferson of Palmdale. After striking the Yukon, the truck proceeded and crashed into the back of a convenience store near the Cajon Pass.

Romero and a passenger had to be freed from the wreckage and sustained serious injuries. As a result, they both were transported by helicopter to hospital.

According to authorities, the driver of the Yukon drove himself to hospital.

The truck driver claims he experienced brake failure. The truck accident remains under investigation.

Called West coast trial lawyers this morning because I was involved in a slip and fall accident at a major retail store and was in search of an lawyer who can help. Since this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me I wasn't sure what proper steps would be in order to be able to get the help I needed. I was hit by a drunk driver on my way home from work. Luckily it wasn't to serious and I was able to walk away without any major injuries. The driver fled the scene but I was still in such shock that I called 911 and they came out and filed a report. I can’t express the gratitude I have for this firm and Neama. From the date of my accident, I called the firm. I explained my issue to them and they had later transferred me over to Sam. Once I had given Sam more details about my accident, he had confirmed that he would be able to help me with my case. This review is a huge shoutout to Rob Hernandez, the intake director for West Coast Trial Lawyers. On August 24, 2022, I called seeking legal help with an auto accident. Rob took the time and effort to hear about my case. Because my accident did not involve a personal injury, they could not take my case. I got into a car crash in LA in summer of last year. I had no idea how much goes into the whole legal process when you hire a lawyer. I'm so glad I was able to have my case accepted by west coast trial lawyers, and to get Pedram as my attorney. I was worried about what I had to do after the car crash in terms of legal procedures, but they pretty much took over for me so that was great.
